“I know I want more, but I have no idea what that ‘more’ even is.”

How did I get here?

I'm not where I thought I would be.

“I know that everything I need is already inside me—I just need to tap into it.”

WHAT'S NEXT?

You don’t need all the answers.

You just need to take the first step.

I don’t want to spend this next phase of life just coasting—I want to feel alive.”

“I wish I had a roadmap for what comes next.”

“I need structure and accountability—otherwise, I won’t follow through.”

How do I stop that inner critic in my head?

WELCOME

NOW WHAT!

Are you in the midst of a challenge?

Do you  find yourself standing in the gap between what lead you to

Now and uncertain of your Now What?

How do you bridge the gap between

WHERE YOU'VE COME         to          WHERE YOU WANT TO GO?

For years, you’ve navigated life around familiar patterns and routines.  You've created on autopilot that helped you be lover, mother, daughter, neighbor, friend, workmate, etc

But deep down, you know there’s more waiting for you—more excitement, more purpose, and more fulfillment.

Doing what you've been doing won’t get you where you want to go. You lack clarity on your next step.

I've found myself there a few times in my life. Most recently navigating emptynester feelings.

Now, I help women like you do the same in life’s next chapter.

Your next move doesn’t have to be perfect—you just need to get started. Let’s build your vision, create the game plan and take action together.

Coach Deb quote:

"I believe everyone was created extraordinary. Your extraordinary comes from doing the little extra of the everyday ordinary 'things' you do."

“You can’t hit a target you cannot see, and you cannot see a target you do not have,”

who am i?

.orked okay or so I thought.

Such a simple sounding question at first - but it really does prompt a deeper dive into what makes me tick - For me playgrounds, PE class and physical challenges are where I fit in and felt most comfortable growing up. I watched the Olympics on TV as a young teenager and knew that someday I wanted to Be an Olympian. I had not idea what that would take at the time and I'm thankful that I just took a step towards that. In my teenage brain that was doing push-up and sit-ups before bed.

As I look back on my life,  There are two significant events in my life, my Mom's unexpected death at the age of 36 (I was 18), and part way into my athlete journey I was hit by a drunk driver while on my bike.  Both, these showed me how little I was prepared to handle emotional, mental and spiriutal trauma.  While my mom's death would have been a good time to develop emotional regulation skills - I stuck with what I knew and that was to be physical. I managed because I was focused on pursuing elite level sport and was progressing up the ranks.

Unfortunaltely, that meant I didn't really develop new skills. Consequently,  a few years later when I got hit by the drunk driver and couldn't do the physical things anymore, I couldn't deal with my stress like I always had before ... I lost my sense of who I was. I didn't know what to do ... so I mopped , and grumped, and whined, and cried, and oh-woos-me til eventually I got sick of myself. Luckily a a fellow grad student  introduced me to Lars-Eric Unestahl.  He became my mentor and taught me about 'mental training'.

It was relatively new idea back then. I learned that beyond what my body could or couldn't do there was so much I could do with mentl training.

I started to understand what my brain, thoughts and beliefs could do and how powerful and transformative they were. From that day til now mental training has been foundational to my approach to life. Well beyong my playing days now it is has developmed with me nto the each new/next phase of my life. First work, then marriage, then family and now a Transitional LIfe Coach. IAs an Olympian, I learned that success isn’t just about the physical steps you take—it’s about training your mind to move forward, even when it’s uncomfortable.t w

My husband Andy, and I have been married for 28 years , we have 2 amazing young adult sons, Matthew and Caleb. Soon to welcome in a daughter in law Darci.  We have lived in two different hemispheres, 4 different countries, homeschooled and adventured to many off the map treasures.  In the past few years I have been experimenting and crafting how to bring my expertise from the sport world to world of women ...  women at a crossroads in life - you are standing facing the gap - looking back at where you came from, examining where you are now and uncertain about what comes next. Here is what I can tell you for CERTAIN ...

TRUTH - you have the seeds of greatness in you.  You have an inner super power -  your EmpowerHER ...  I call her your Inner Olympian ... No athleticism required and you don't even have to like sport ... but you can learn to train your mind like an Olympian to go after what’s next  ...   let me introduce you to her ... she is waiting to make you a champion.

I cannot believe the change this has made in my life since Deb started coaching me.  I am more organized and am getting a lot more accomplished every day.  I’m now getting my walks in every day where I wasn’t able to do it before and I have a visual list of things that need to be accomplished every day.  It doesn’t matter if I get everything done on my list.  It matters that I have a plan and a purpose for each day and I work diligently throughout the day to check off the things on my list that I did complete.  Those uncompleted tasks can be added to the following days list.  Father God.  I want to thank You for blessing me with the opportunity to learn from Deb.  She spends a lot of time summarizing our conversations and sending out another plan for the following week and this is greatly appreciated.  I not only appreciate Deb for what she’s doing to help me get more organized, I appreciate Deb for who she is.  May God abundantly bless you Deb for the blessing you are to me.
